It is not difficult to make a quick and healthy snack that will give you energy and keep you full for hours. Energy bars are widely seen in the market today and many people are fans of these products. But my suggestion to you is that you can make these delicious bars very easily and quickly at home and enjoy them with a cup of tea or coffee.
One of the advantages of making your own high-protein energy bars at home is that you are in total control over the ingredients you add.
This energy bar recipe was so easy, and it took me less than 20 minutes to put it together.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup quick oats
½ cup raisins, OR dried cranberries
10-15 Almonds
3-4 Walnuts
¼ cup honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon cocoa powder
3 Tbsp coconut shreds
½ teaspoon orange zest
How to make an Orange Energy Bar?
First, pour the oats into the food processor and mix for a while on medium speed
Then add raisins, almonds, and walnuts and mix again
In the next step, add cocoa powder along with orange zest and mix again. (Cinnamon optional)
Add maple syrup or honey at the end and mix for the last time. (The ingredients become pasty)
Then, with the help of your hands, roll the resulting dough into a ball and roll it in coconut powder.
Notes
These orange energy bars are no-bake and do not harden. Keeping them chilled will firm them up, but they must be stored in and served from the fridge. They are not intended to be portable.
May sub honey for maple syrup. If vegan, use organic pure maple syrup.
Store orange energy bars in the fridge or freezer (not in the pantry or counter)
Swap almonds for salty peanuts or your favorite type of nuts or dried fruit.
